Inclarity has selected CounterPath’s Bria Enterprise softphone app for desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone as their chosen softphone going forward.
OFCOM has reported a total of 6.4 million business fixed lines in use at the end of 2017, a significant drop compared to 8.7 million lines at the end of 2012. The industry is continuing to see a steady decline in the use of traditional telephone lines in favour of mobile and cloud-based services, where an increasing number of users are opting to use their mobile phone as their primary business communication device.
The Bria Enterprise app with both voice and video service enables you to use your laptop, desktop (both Windows and Macintosh), tablet and mobile (both Android and iPhone) devices, as a fully-featured extension of your Inclarity business phone system. In addition, the app fully supports bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environments, meaning you can enable employees at any location, without needing to issue them with their own dedicated, physical telephones.
For an enhanced experience, Inclarity offers the Enterprise Business Bundle which allows the user to enable four devices of any type and also includes advance features such as instant messaging (IM), presence and screen sharing.
“Inclarity is at the forefront of communication trends and is aware of the growing shift in preference from physical handsets to software clients. As a result, we have chosen to partner with CounterPath so we can offer our channel resellers the best softphone solution”, said Enzo Viscito, Inclarity’s Managing Director. “Our decision was also based on the fact that CounterPath’s technology is completely interoperable with Inclarity’s VoIP platform.”
Bruce Ford, VP Channel Management at CounterPath said “We are delighted to work with Inclarity who we see as a strategic partner going forward. Our award-winning Bria Enterprise software is built in line with the latest open technology standards and is designed with the goal of creating an exceptional user experience. Our software serves today’s burgeoning markets for enterprise communications by offering a flexible solution which is easy to deploy and manage, that encourages greater workplace productivity and user mobility.
