It’s not hard to disagree with analyst firm IDC when they say ‘Collaboration platforms embody the opportunity of digital disruption. They are people-powered, use new behavioural metrics and positively affect standard business KPIs.’

It’s highly likely therefore that team and workgroup based collaboration applications will feature highly on the agenda of all firms seeking a customer centric outlook and gain competitive advantage through increased business agility.

Resellers should consider which applications best suit their customers and in 2018 it’s clear that this market is maturing in terms of enterprise class applications with the stage now set for a competitive market as firms invest in software to connect their employees.
